Does Toodday connect to the Jira API?
No. Toodday works from Jira CSV exports — you upload the CSV from your Jira instance and Toodday builds dashboards, watchdog alerts, release tracking, and standup workspaces from the imported data. This means anyone on the team can use it without Atlassian API access or admin permissions.
What does Toodday cost?
Toodday is $19 USD per month with a 7-day free trial. There is one plan that includes every feature: tasks, projects, notes, meetings, the Jira dashboard, AI standup and Today reports, image attachments, and global search. No tiers, no per-seat pricing, no add-ons.
Do I need to pay extra for AI features?
No. Toodday uses BYOK — bring your own key. You connect your own Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, or DeepSeek API key in Settings, and AI standup and Today reports run against that account. Toodday never marks up token costs because the provider bills you directly.
How does the 7-day trial work?
You start the trial when you create an account and add a payment method. The card is not charged for the first 7 days, you have full access to every feature, and you can cancel from Settings before day 7 to avoid the first charge. After the trial the card is charged $19/month.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your workspace becomes read-only at the end of the billing period, and you can export everything to JSON from Settings → Data at any time before or after cancellation. Tasks, notes, projects, meetings, and imported Jira data are all included in the export.
Is Toodday a replacement for Jira?
No. Toodday sits next to Jira and gives engineering managers and operators a calmer, faster view of the data Jira already holds. Your developers keep using Jira; you use Toodday to monitor releases, spot stale tickets, generate standup notes, and track your own tasks and notes in one workspace.
Who is Toodday for?
Toodday is for engineering managers, tech leads, and operators on small shipping teams (typically 3–30 engineers) who use Jira but want a single keyboard-fast workspace for tasks, notes, meetings, and Jira monitoring. It is not built for enterprise procurement or for teams that need a wiki or a customer support tool.
Can I import data from other tools?
Toodday currently imports from Jira via CSV. You upload your standard Jira issues CSV export and Toodday builds tickets, releases, assignees, and watchdog views from it. Native imports from Linear, Asana, Notion, and Todoist are not available today.
